Your Consultation
Consultations typically last around half an hour, depending on the treatment and discussions required.
We encourage our clients to ask as many questions as they need in order to be confident and satisfied they are making the correct decision. Please ask about anything you are unsure about. There is no such thing as a silly question.
If anything remains unclear after the initial consultation, you will be welcome to come back and talk through your options as many times as needed before making a final decision on treatment.
The consultation may involve physical examinations. We therefore encourage you to wear loose fitting clothing that is easy to remove, for your comfort and dignity. We may also seek your permission to take pre-operative photographs to help plan your surgery. Wearing black undergarments for this will help to maintain your privacy.
Companions are welcome to come along to provide moral support before and after the consultation, or to join you for the consultation itself. The Hospital has a comfortable waiting room with complementary refreshments and superfast WiFi.
