I am one of the surgical nurses on the ward. In my role I can provide physical as well as emotional care and support. I am privileged to be able to observe patients as they regain their strength and confidence postoperatively, knowing I am a small part of their healing journey.
One of the things I love is that not two shifts are ever quite the same and connections with the hospital team, as well as with the patients, make my job truly fulfilling.
